About Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch

At the time of disposal, AG Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch was a leading and globally active supplier of turbo machinery – i.e. steam turbines, compressors and fans. These products are used in power stations, desulphuriser units, refineries, chemical plants and water purification plants and for the technical equipment of buildings. Important subsidiaries were HV-Turbo, with its headquarters in Elsinore, Denmark, as well as TLT-Turbo, with plants in Zweibrücken and Bad Hersfeld.

Strategy

The investment was sold to Siemens AG in 2006, following the successful completion of the public-to-private transaction, the comprehensive integration of previous add-on acquisitions and the subsequent realignment of the Group.
